1. Who We Are

ResumeAIWin ("we", "us", "our") is operated by ResumeAIWin Ltd. We provide AI-powered resume building, ATS checking, and cover letter generation tools at resumeaiwin.com. For privacy matters, contact us at privacy@resumeaiwin.com.

2. What Data We Collect

Data you provide directly

• Resume content: Text you paste into our resume builder or ATS checker. This is processed in real-time to generate your output and is not stored on our servers after your session ends.
• Job descriptions: Text you paste for tailoring. Processed in real-time, not stored.
• Account information: If you create a paid account — your email address and payment details (handled by Stripe; we never see your full card number).

Data collected automatically

• Usage analytics: Pages visited, features used, session duration — via Google Analytics (anonymised IP).
• Technical data: Browser type, device type, approximate location (country-level), referring URL.
• Cookies: Session cookies for authentication and preference cookies. See Section 7.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and improve our AI resume generation service
• To manage your paid account and process payments
• To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets) — never unsolicited marketing without consent
• To analyse aggregate usage patterns to improve the product
• To comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your data. We do not use your resume content to train AI models. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

4. Data Retention

Resume content and job descriptions are processed in memory only and are not written to persistent storage. Account data (email, billing records) is retained for the duration of your account plus 7 years for tax and legal compliance. Analytics data is retained for 26 months per Google Analytics defaults.

5. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your account and associated data
• Object to or restrict certain processing
• Data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)
• Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

6. Third-Party Services

• Anthropic Claude API: Resume content is sent to Anthropic's API for AI processing. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. Anthropic's API does not use submitted prompts for training by default.
• Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe handles all card data under PCI-DSS compliance.
• Google Analytics: Anonymised usage analytics.
• Firebase (Google): Website hosting and delivery.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies (required for the site to function), analytics cookies (Google Analytics, anonymised), and preference cookies (to remember your settings). You can disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings or via our cookie banner. Disabling analytics cookies will not affect site functionality.

8. International Data Transfers

Our services are hosted in the United States via Firebase. If you are located in the EU or UK, data transfers are protected by Standard Contractual Clauses. If you are in Australia, transfers comply with Australian Privacy Principle 8.

9. Children's Privacy

ResumeAIWin is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us at privacy@resumeaiwin.com and we will delete it promptly.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Significant changes will be notified to registered users by email.
